After reading back through my comment, I think it comes off a little more 'harsh' than I intended. I apologize if that is the case.

I just strongly feel that if we are going to get anywhere in these inter-faith discussions, we need to stop reacting to the jerks out there who characterize different religious faiths, and start dealing with what the religion actually teaches. In other words, we need to stop using paper-tiger arguments, and start wrestling with the difficulties of these matters - they are much more complex then I believe we often give them credit for.

Again, I apologize if that initial comment sounded harsh. It really wasn't intended to be - I just get so passionate sometimes (as my wife likes to say) and I don't really think about how I 'sound.'

Cheers to you,
Tom

No orthodox Christian has EVER argued that Jesus has dual natures....EVER. So, I'm sorry, but you're completely off base here.

Second, that the Father is greater is also not a problem for Trinitarian theology, rightly understood. And the fact that you think it is tells me that you really don't understand what Christians mean by the 'trinity.'

You repeatedly make these issues out to be 'easier' to debunk than they really are. I've come on this page 4 or 5 times now to engage you in discussions, but you have not replied a single time. Why? Is it b/c it's easier to throw up paper-tigers and call that 'Christianity'?

I am trying to be respectful of your beliefs, but you continually characterize mine. You're doing the very thing you previously accused Christians of in your previous post on Muhammad and accusations of child molestation.

No genuine dialogue can occur if you neither reply to my comments, nor take my rebuttals seriously.
